ABOUT
Leliekloof lodge offers holiday accommodation which is set on a working farm in an outstanding valley on the Stormberg Mountains. After visiting Leliekloof, the artist Walter Battiss (father of South African Impressionism), called Leliekloof the 'Valley of Art' due to the many rock art sites.
Thanks to Leliekloof’s unique environment, the landscape is a stunning high altitude wilderness at 1800m, where Skulpspruit river chiselled a beautiful gorge through sandstone and dolerite hills.

There are plenty of experiences to enjoy such as, rock art excursions, fishing, bird watching, cycling, hiking, rock climbing, canoeing, wild swimming or simply relaxing within a beautiful landscape.
To make the most of your stay, we recommend at least 2 days and warm clothes, at a high altitude of 1800m it can get very cold, even during the summer months. Your accommodation has a large alpine fireplace in the lounge with plenty of wood to keep cosy.
